Being a stay at home mom is tough work! Any day can host a curve ball that will take you off course from what you imagined and planned your day to look like. Can you relate?…
I’ve learned through my own moments of frustration when things in my schedule change course dramatically, and my list of tasks for the day simply must remain untouched, that the most powerful thing for me to do is breathe, let go, focus on the good at the present time, and then repeat as often as necessary!
This has been one of my greatest parenting challenges, to learn to let go of the tasks and remain focused on the present. Juggling parenting and working from home as a stay at home mom is challenging, but “do-able”. There are times of setback or frustration, and then seasons of breakthroughs and triumphs. The sooner we can learn to just “roll with it” and enjoy the ride, the easier it all becomes, and then happier and more at ease we and our children become. You will find your enjoyment increase and your frustrations decrease.
