You know the saying “Exercise does a body good”, well good news, it also does your Beauty Good.
Remember these for when you need a little extra motivation to get moving!
1. Improved Beauty Sleep: Many studies document the correlation between regular exercise and getting a better and more restful night’s sleep. When we sleep, this is the time when our body’s cells repair, regenerate, and rest. Regular exercisers also find it easier to get to sleep and stay asleep. Just don’t take on an intense workout within two hours before getting to bed.
2. Increased Circulation: Want a natural glow all over? Exercise increases circulation in the body, helps generate new blood pathways (to meet demand for increased blood flow), and floods your skin with oxygenated and nutrient-rich blood cells.
3. Better Skin and Hair: Did you know that perspiration actually contains some antibiotic properties – which can help clear your skin? Just make sure you wash skin after exercising, and if you wear cosmetics either do a light application or remove make-up prior to or immediately following your sweat session. The releasing of sweat through your pores also clears out dirt and toxins. And the increase of circulation to your scalp during exercise can actually promote hair growth!
4. Less Wrinkles: Exercise helps increase production of collagen and elastin to improve the thickness of our skin for an all over smoother appearance.
5. Goodbye to Bloat: Exercising helps to reduce inflammation and fluid retention in our body! Our lymphatic system gets to work to reduce water retention, puffy-eyes, and dark circles.
